THE MIRACLES OF CHRIST

Miracle is the Lord working and confirming the word (His word) with signs following

the miracles of Christ


The gospel
Matthew 10:1, 7-8,

Healing (sicknesses and diseases)
• At Capernaum, Peter's house; Jesus healed Peter's mother-in-law and many others Matthew 8:14-18 , Mark 1:29-39, Luke 4:38-44
• Also, in Capernaum, Jesus healed a centurion's servant Matthew 8:5-13 , Luke 7:1-10
• Also, in Capernaum, Jesus preached the word and healed a paralytic man Matthew 9:1-8, Mark 2:1-12 (see vs.2), Luke 5:17-26 (see vs.17)
• In a certain city, Jesus healed a man with leprosy or a leper Matthew 8:1-4 , Mark 1:39-45, Luke 5:12-16

Casting out devils
• In the Synagogue at Capernaum, Jesus taught and also drove out or cast out an evil spirit Mark 1:21-28 (see vs. 21), Luke 4:31-44 (see vs. 31)
• In Gadarenes, Jesus cast out devils out of possessed man or men Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39
• In Tyre and sidon; syrophoenician's or Canaanite woman's daughter was delivered from unclean spirit Matthew 15:21-28, Mark 7:24-30
• Jesus healed a dumb man, who was demon possessed by casting out the demon Matthew 9:32-34, 12:22-23, Luke 11:14-28
• Jesus cast out a devil from a boy Matthew 17:14-18, Mark 9:14-27, Luke 9:37-42

Nature
• In a desert, Jesus fed five thousand people Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:31-44, Luke 9:10-17, John 6:1-15
• In Galilee, Jesus fed four thousand people Matthew 15:32-39, Mark 8:1-9
• In Nain, Jesus raised a widow's son Luke 7:11-17
• In Cana of Galilee, on a wedding ceremony, Jesus turned water to wine John 2:1-11
• In Bethany, Jesus raised Lazarus from the grave John 11:1-44
• Jesus calmed the storm Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, Luke 8:22-25

THE REASONS FOR THE MIRACLES OF CHRIST
• For us to believe or trust or have faith in His name John 2:23, 11:45, Matthew 12:15-21, Acts 3:11-16 (see vs.16)
• For the people to repent of their sins Matthew 11:20-24, Luke 10:13-16, 11:29-32
