What is destiny or destine? — Destiny or destine means to be like Christ Jesus the Son of God OR to conformed to the image of His Son Jesus Christ Romans 8:29

• talent
• career dreams

TALENT:
Talent is God's own goods given to us e.g. money or substance or work Matthew 25:14-15, Luke 15:11-13, Luke 19:11-27 (see vs. 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 24), Mark 13:32-37 (see vs. 34)

NOTE:
• The word “trade” is to occupy, which also means to work Matthew 25:16-18
Luke 19:13
• We shouldn't trade or use our talent for riotous living e.g. drinking of alcohols, worldly parties, womanizing etc Luke 15:11-13, 30 (Proverbs 29:3, Luke 12:42-48)
• Money or substance should be used for the propagation of the gospel Proverb 3:9, Luke 8:1-3 (NIRV (New International Reader’s version) & GW (God’s Word Translation)

career dreams


Informal educational career dreams: These require little or no formal education. They do not involve mental effort, rather they requires the use of physical effort or energy e.g. guards or security guards, messengers, cleaners, gardeners etc

Formal educational career dreams: These require formal education and mental effort. They undergo specialized type of training in institution of higher learning e.g. lawyers, engineers, medical doctors, teachers etc

Examples of informal educational career dreams:
• The children of Jacob were shepherds Genesis 46:31-34, 47:1-6
• Nehemiah was the king's cup bearer; one who has the duty of filling and handing around the cups in which wine is served Nehemiah 1:11
• Mordecai was a gateman or security man Esther 2:19
• Jesus was a carpenter Matthew 13:55, Mark 6:3

Examples of formal educational career dreams:
• Moses learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians Acts 7:22
• Daniel was taught learning (literature) and the tongue or language of the Chaldeans Daniel 1:3-4
• Luke was a physician or doctor Colossians 4:14
• Paul was a Pharisee and a tent maker Philippians 3:5, Acts 18:1-3

What is our purpose on earth?:
Our purpose on earth is to fulfill God’s purpose in Christ Jesus Romans 8:28, Ephesians 3:11

WHAT IS GOD'S PURPOSE IN CHRIST JESUS?:
• For us to be conformed to the image of His Son Romans 8:28-29, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 1 Corinthians 15:44-49, Philippians 3:20-21, 1 John 3:1-3
• Also, to present us holy and blameless in His sight Colossians 1:22-23
