WHAT IS THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST?

• The Gospel is Jesus Christ (i.e the Messiah) Acts 2:36,
17:2-3, 18:5 & 24-28, 28:23
• The gospel is also the birth, circumcision, dedication, growth, baptism, temptation, His teaching, His death for our sins, buried and resurrected on the third day and His second Coming Mark 1:1, Acts 1:1, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
• The gospel is also the four cardinal points (North, South, East and West) of the Kingdom of God

• It is also the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes Romans 1:16
• The Holy Bible (the scriptures) is also the gospel of Jesus Christ:
i. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, God proclaimed the gospel Genesis 3:8-15, Galatians 4:4-5
ii. The gospel was also preached to Abraham Galatians 3:8
iii. Moses and all the prophets wrote about Christ John 5:45-47, Luke 24:25-27 & 44-46
iv. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote about the gospel of Jesus Christ Matthew 1:1 & 16, Mark 1:1, Luke 1:1-4, John 1:1-5 & 14, 29, 34
v. The Acts of the Apostles, popularly called Acts, shows us about the spread of the gospel Acts 1:1-8, Acts 8:4 & 25
vi. Other letters or epistles written by the apostles of Christ e.g. Peter, James, Jude, John and Paul, was to remind God's people about the gospel of Christ 2 Corinthians 1:13, Ephesians 3:3-4 (6:19) 2 peter 1:12, 3:1 & 15, 1 John 2:12-14, Jude 3 & 17
vii. The book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Revelation 1:1-3 & 9, 14:6-7
