THE HUMAN BLOOD
we should not shed human blood by killing or murdering

Biblical examples of those that killed or murdered (i.e. to shed human blood)
• Cain killed or murdered Abel Genesis 4:8-11 (see vs. 10-11)
• Abimelech killed or murdered his brothers Judges 9:1-5, 23-24 (see vs. 23-24)
• King Saul killed or murdered the Gibeonites 2 Samuel 21:1-6
• Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem with it 2 Kings 21:16, 24:1-5

THE SHEDDING OF HUMAN BLOOD ARE AS FOLLOWS:
• Blood crimes e.g. robbery, kidnaping, violence, secret cult, ritual killing etc Ezekiel 22:1-4, 6, 9-13, 23-31, 9:9, 16:36, Habakkuk 2:12; Ezekiel 7:22-23 (Micah 3:10, Lamentation 4:12-14), Proverbs 1:8-19 (see vs. 11, 16, 18)
• Talebearer or gossip Leviticus 19:16 (Ezekiel 35:1-6, 1 Samuel 19:1-5)

ANIMALS' BLOOD
• Bullock Leviticus 1:5
• Birds e.g. turtle doves or pigeons etc Leviticus 1:14
• Ram Leviticus 9:18
• Goat Leviticus 16:15 & 18

NOTE: God had no delight in the (i.e. no pleasure, don't want to see) sacrifices of animals; neither their blood Isaiah 1:10-18 (see vs. 11), 66:3-4

THE BLOOD OF CHRIST
Blood speaks or cries (see Genesis 4:10), but the blood of Christ speaks better things Hebrews 12:24-26
The blood of Christ is shed on the cross for:
• The remission or forgiveness of sin Matthew 26:28 (Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14)
• Peace Colossians 1:20
• Token or sign against plague (Christ our Passover) Exodus 12:11-13 (1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:18-19)
