God’s people (i.e. Israel and Gentiles, that believed Christ, the messiah (the gospel of Christ)
• The children of Israel were referred to as “the church” (assembly or congregation) in the wilderness Acts 7:37-41,
Exodus 12:6, 16:3, Leviticus 8:4
•Christ used the word, “my church” (i.e. Israel and Gentiles, that believed Christ, the messiah (the gospel of Christ) Matthew 16:18, John 10:14-16 (see vs.16), 11:49-52 (see vs. 52), Ephesians 2:11-17 (see vs. 14-16), 3:1-10 (see vs. 1, 6, 8, 10)

NOTE:
•Whether the singular word “church” or plural word “churches” used in the Bible; it refers to God’s people (i.e. Israel and Gentiles, that believed Christ, the messiah (the gospel of Christ) Acts 16:5, 2:41, 47, 11:24
• Their place of gathering or meeting was in the temple and from house to house. Paul also used a school. Their place of gathering or meeting was never called church or churches, rather they were the church or churches in their houses Acts 2:46, 5:42, 19:7-10 (see vs. 9), Romans 16:4-5, 1 Corinthians 16:19, Colossians 4:15

Specific names for Israel in the flesh and their physical structure of place of worship, which is now the general names for both Israel and gentiles (i.e. God’s people that believed Christ, the messiah (the gospel of Christ), which is no longer a physical structure of place of worship:

Denominational name of church or churches (misconception of the church or churches) refers to; a physical structure of a place, calling it church or churches

The decline of the church
• The decline of the church is “a name”, which they live on, but are dead; which refers to the name of denominational church or churches; a name given to a physical structure of a place, calling it church or churches Revelations 3:1, Genesis 11:1-9 (see vs. 4)
But there are “few names” (i.e. God’s people in denominational name of church or churches), which have not defiled their garments Revelation 3:4
• Some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits (false miracles, false visions etc), and doctrines of devils (Witchcraft or the depths or deep things of Satan) 1 Timothy 4:1. This is also divination, enchantment etc Acts 16:16-18
Divination: This is a magical power to know and tell the future or what will happen in future. This is mistakenly seen as prophecy, vision etc Jeremiah 14:14
Enchantment: This is a magical power to control, manipulate etc. This is mistakenly seen as miracles, deliverance etc Exodus 7:8-9 (see vs. 9), 11-12, 19, 22, 8:5, 7, 16, 18-19 (see vs. 19), Luke 11:14-20 (see vs. 19-20, Matthew 12:27-28)
All forms of idolatry and witchcraft will be seen in denominational name of church or churches (i.e. a name given to a physical structure of a place, calling it church or churches).

NOTE ON THE TABERNACLE AND THE CHURCH:
There is only two persons that would build God a house; Moses and Christ:
Moses was instructed by God to set up a tabernacle, a physical structure according the pattern shewed to him on the mount because it was the example and shadow of the heavenly things Exodus 25:9, Acts 7:44, Hebrews 8:1-5 (see vs. 5), 9:1-11, 21-24 (see vs. 2, 6, 8, 11)
Christ’s building is His church (i.e. my church), is not a physical structure; but God’s people (i.e. Israel and Gentiles, that believed Christ, the messiah (the gospel of Christ) which are written in heaven Hebrews 3:1-6 , Revelation 7:1-17, Hebrews 12:18-29, Galatians 4:25-26
