the doctrine of baptisms

The doctrine of baptism is that water baptism should be done in the name of Jesus Christ and hands should be laid on them for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (i.e. speaking in tongues and prophesy) Acts 19:1-6 (see vs. 5-6), 2:38-39, 8:12, 14-17

NOTE:
• Water baptism is not by sprinkling of water, washing the hands, feet or head but by immersion which signifies the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ Romans 6:3-5
• Only those that believe the gospel should be baptized Mark 16:15-16, Acts 8:12
• Also, only those that believe the gospel and baptized, should partake in the communion (the breaking of bread) Acts 2:41-42 , 1 Corinthians 10:16-17
