The word “GENERATION” refers to the individuals, stage of life etc
Generational curses is the violation, transgression, breaking, disobedient to the instruction of God
Generational blessing is to obey God's instruction

EXAMPLES OF GENERATIONAL CURSES AND BLESSING
Adam as a generation Genesis 2:4-9

Instruction: Genesis 2:15-17
Generational curses: Genesis 3:1-14, 17 (see vs. 17)
Generational blessing: Genesis 3:15, Galatians 4:4-5, Romans 5:12-21, 1 Corinthians 15:45-49

Noah and Abraham as generation Genesis 5:1-3, 25-32
Lamech the father of Noah, gave him the name “Noah”, which means “the person that will comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord had cursed” Genesis 5:29, 8:15-22
Generational curses: Genesis 9:18-29 (see vs. 25), 10:6, 15-18
Instruction and the generational blessing: Genesis 11:10-11, 24-32, 12:1-5 (see vs. 2-3), Galatians 3:8-10, 13-14

Jacob and his twelve sons as generation
Generational blessing and firstborn son:

Generational blessing is to be listed in the genealogy as the firstborn son while firstborn son is refers to as, the beginning of the father’s strength Deuteronomy 21:15-17, Genesis 49:3, 43:33 (1 Chronicles 5:1-2 (NLT), Genesis 27:1-41 (see vs. 1, 12, 15-19, 21-30, 32-36, 38-40), 28:1-4 (see vs. 4)

Firstborn son
• Esau as an example of firstborn son: He despised his birthright, which is a figuratively of fornication (sexual immoral) and profane (unholy) Genesis 25:29-34 (see vs. 31, 34), Hebrews 12:15-17 (The Amplified Bible & ESV)
• Reuben as an example of firstborn son: He slept with his father’s concubine Genesis 35:22, 49:3-4, 1 Chronicles 5:1-2
• Jehoram as an example of firstborn son: He killed his brothers and was also involved in idolatry 2 Chronicles 21:1-6, 11-20 (see vs. 3, 17)
• Jesus as an example of firstborn son: Exodus 4:22-23 (Hosea 11:1, Matthew 2:13-15, Colossians 1:14-15)
