Chapter six
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST EXPLAINS AND GIVES INSIGHT OR UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MINISTERING TO THE SAINTS 2 Corinthians 9:1

Ministering to the saints came from the words of Jesus, saying to the ruler, "sell all that you have, and distribute to the poor" Luke 18:18-22 (see vs.22)

The scenario:
• After His resurrection; the Church in Jerusalem abide to it Acts 2:41-45 (see vs. 45), 4:34-35
• Barnabas sold a land he owned, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet Acts 4:36-37
• Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession (i.e. a property). They agreed together to keep part of the money. Ananias brought the other part of the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet Acts 5:1-11 (see vs. 2-3)
• The Church in Antioch also comply to it, decided to send relief to the brethren in Judaea (i.e. Jerusalem) according to their ability Acts 11:19-30 (see vs. 29-30)
• Paul also comply with it; that the Gentiles that believe the gospel should remember the poor (i.e. to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem) Galatians 2:7-10, Romans 15:25-27

Ministering to the saints is also the labour's reward: This could be
• Gold or silver or brass (i.e. money)
• Clothes and shoes
• bread (i.e. food)
