The gospel of Christ explains and gives insight or understanding about The book of Revelation
(It is also the continuity of the gospel)

The book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ, shown to John Revelation 1:1-10

It is symbolic (i.e. historical and prophetical), concerning the churches, Israel nation and Gentiles’ nations

The seven churches (i.e. the seven candlesticks and the seven stars) Revelation 1:11-20 (see vs 11-13, 16, 20)
• The angel of the church of Ephesus (i.e. the church in Ephesus; backslide) Revelation 2:1-7
• The angel of the church in Smyrna (i.e. the church in Smyrna; persecution) Revelation 2:8-11
• The angel of the church in Pergamos (i.e. the church in Pergamos; false doctrine) Revelation 2:12-17
