The gospel of Christ explains and gives insight or understanding about the first transition of Isreal's government; Theocracy (i.e. God)

Theocracy is the government of God. In the first transition of Isreal’s government, God was the ruler of the children of Israel (i.e. theocracy). He gave them laws to keep and do in the land Deuteronomy 4:1-8


The laws and its interpretation given to Israel to keep and do in the land
Military law:
• Sex; Male
• Age; from twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel

Criminal law:
• Bribery and perverting of justice Exodus 23:4 (NIV), Deuteronomy 16:18-20 (NIV)

• Murder Exodus 20:13, 21:12, 14-15
• Accidentally murder and the citied of refuge Exodus 21:13, Numbers 35:9-34
• Assault Exodus 21:18-27, Leviticus 24:19-22
• Stealing or robbery Exodus 20:15, 22:1-5, 7-15
• Slavery or Kidnaping Exodus 21:16, Deuteronomy 24:7

Immoral law:
• Adultery Exodus 20:14, Leviticus 20:10, Deuteronomy 22:22, John 8:1-11

• Incest (i.e. sexual immorality between close relation) Leviticus 18:1-18,

Marriage law:
• A bill of divorcement Deuteronomy 24:1-4
• Divorce is not applicable to the priest Leviticus 21:7, 14

Inheritance law:
• Firstborn and other children or sons Deuteronomy 21:15-17
• Daughter without son Numbers 27:8
• Without children Numbers 27:9-11

Human law:
• Strangers or foreigners Exodus 22:21, Leviticus 19:33-34

Loans law:
• The poor citizen Exodus 22:25-27, Deuteronomy 23:19
• Strangers or foreigners Deuteronomy 23:20, 15:1-3

Religious law:
• Worshipping of gods or idols Exodus 20:1-6
• Abominable practices of other nations (i.e. the gentile nations) e.g. divination, enchantment etc Deuteronomy 18:9-14
