The Bible & Study Guide

The Bible and Study Guide is the appropriate Book and material to study the gospel of Christ. The Bible is the official or authoritative or authorized word of God while Study Guide is a copy of the word of God; the publication of the gospel Deuteronomy 17:18-19

Two major characters in the Bible
• Moses; the Law
• Jesus Christ; grace and truth

The book of the old testament (covenant)
The Law: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy (i.e. the book)
History: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther and Job is also the continuity of the law (i.e. the book)
Poem or Poetry: Psalm, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon is also the continuity of the law (i.e. the book)
The prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi is also the continuity of the law (i.e. the book)

The purpose of the book of the old testament (covenant)
It is all about the gospel (i.e. Jesus is the Christ or Messiah that is said to died, buried and rose the third day) John 5:45-47, Luke 24:25-27 & 44-46

The book of the new testament (covenant)
The gospel: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (i.e. the gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (i.e. the book)
History: Acts (i.e. the Acts of the Apostles) is also the continuity of the gospel (i.e. the book)
Epistles or letters of the Apostles: Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John and Jude is also the continuity of the gospel (i.e. the book)
The book of Revelation: It is also the continuity of the gospel (i.e. the book)

The purpose of the book of the new testament (covenant)
It is also, all about the gospel (i.e. Jesus is the Christ or Messiah that died, buried and rose the third day) Luke 1:1-4, Acts 1:1, Ephesians 3:3-4, 2 peter 3:15-16

This is the Law and the prophets (i.e. the book), which Christ came to fulfill Matthew 5:17-18, Acts 3:18-21, 25-26, Hebrews 10:7-10
